#1 Epic Beard
Now, Eric over at Beardbrand. If you haven’t been over to his website, you need to go check it out because, first off, he has got an epic beard. So that’s the first reason. Yes, such an epic beard that I named a beard after him called the Bandholz.
So if you go to my chart, that’s been downloaded thousands of times, infographic on beards. Yes, we actually have a beard called the Bandholz. I don’t know how long it took him to grow this but he has grown an amazing beard.
I mean this guy walks the talk. I mean he talks about it. He puts out some great content. He is a proud wearer of the facial hair. In fact, he coined the word urban beardsman. He’s also been on Shark Tank.
#2 The Vision of Beardbrand
Point number two, this guy is getting out there. He’s getting recognized. They’re got an in-store in which they sell oils and really nice beard combs. They’re doing over six figures a month. He has a team.
I think there are about three of them. They’re doing a great job. This is legitimate business out of Spokane, Washington area. It was pretty amazing to see him go on Shark Tank. You can go check it out. Definitely go watch it. I think he did a great job.
This is what this is about. This is about men basically taking control of something that I think society has really told us we have to shave when naturally, in many ways, a beard is going to work for a lot of men.
As you can tell, I don’t always sport a beard but if I’m going to talk about beards, which I do at Real Men Real Style. I brought in Eric to actually help me write an article which has done really well. We get a lot of traffic to that article.
#3 Youtube Channel
Finally, point number three, he’s got a great YouTube channel. Guys, watch his intro. Subscribe in his video. He just cracks me up. I love his sense of humor. In addition, it’s very educational. When you go into his website or you watch any of his videos, he knows what he’s talking about, he’s done the research, and that’s partly why he is so successful.
So Eric at Beardbrand. He’s coming out to Atlanta, Georgia on May 1st through 3rd when we’re having our StyleCon Event. He’s going to be presenting with Aaron Marino. They’re both going to talk a little bit about Shark Tank but also about masculinity and, in a sense, what it means to be an urban beards man and how to rock the beard with style.
I know some of you guys have questions on beards. So I would love to hear from you down in the comments below what your questions are for beards.
